Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the company's tax compliance and reporting processes. This role involves providing strategic tax guidance, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying tax-saving opportunities to support the organization's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for the organization.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
Advise management on tax-related matters and provide strategic tax planning advice.
Identify and implement tax-saving strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
